Being saved in Christ is not about how one feels. Being saved is a position in Him. You're either saved or you are lost. Because a believer might commit a sin at certain times (we still have to deal with temptation and our flesh), he/she might not "feel" saved. But nothing can change the fact that Jesus saved them. If I have on a black suit, but then I change into a gray suit, I'm not going to say, "You know, I don't FEEL like I've changed suits." I have either changed suits or I have not.
So it is in the spiritual realm. We are to put off our old sinful man, making no provision for the flesh, and put on Christ, putting on the new man, so we can do what God would have us to do and be what God would have us to be (Romans 13:14; Galatians 3:27; Ephesians 4:22-24; Colossians 3:9-10).
So what position are you in? Are you in a position of being in a relationship with Christ? If so, great! But if not, I strongly urge you to embrace the free gift of salvation before He comes back for His own, and then it's too late. Please don't believe Satan's lie that you don't need Christ to be a "good person." Jesus died and rose again to save you and I. Invite Him into your life, and you'll be glad you did.
I just want to encourage and inspire as many people as I can for Jesus Christ.
