Don't confuse struggling with temptation with just choosing to live any kind of way just because it feels good. There's a difference. We all (believers and non-believers alike) have to deal with our flesh. We all have that thing (or some things), whether it be a habit, a tendency, a struggle, a circumstance, etc. we just wish we didn't have to deal with. The difference between the believer and the non-believer is that the believer trusts in Jesus to guide him/her through the struggle. The believer knows that ultimately, Jesus won't leave them hangin'. God tells us in His Word that He will never leave us nor forsake us. God always keeps His promises.
In the situation you're in now, you might ask God, "why me?" .... Well why not you? God can give you the strength to make it! Then once you go through your trial--yes, GO THROUGH, so you don't consider yourself stuck--you can go and encourage another with your testimony. Someone needs to hear from you about how you made it. Someone needs to see how Christ is using you. Someone needs hope that they can make it because they saw someone else make it. Stay encouraged, and don't give up, no matter what it looks like.
I just want to encourage and inspire as many people as I can for Jesus Christ.
