Build a faith-grace-bridge that takes you from lack to a great supply from God. What is that bridge? It's praise! Praise God in advance! The eyes in the natural see lack, they see sickness, they see trouble, they see chaos. But faith sees provision, it sees healing, it sees peace, it sees order. When issues do come your way, how will you respond? When Jesus bids you to come to Him after you--like Peter--have said, "If it's You Lord, bid me to come to You," and the waves are crashing all around you, will you walk on water? Or will you take your eyes off of Jesus and sink and struggle? (See Matthew 14:27-30) See Peter had what Jesus called "little faith" (Matt. 14:31). Peter had just enough faith to walk on the water, but not enough to actually reach Jesus while walking on the water. So the question is then, how far will the amount of faith that you have take you?
When you hear a life changing word from God, you can respond in faith or in disbelief. Faith has to be put on display, or else it's not faith. How long will your faith be on display even while trouble seems to be everywhere? The spirit of faith walks by faith. Sometimes you have to do something to exhibit faith. And sometimes you have to do nothing to exhibit faith. Sometimes you just have to wait on God, wait on His timing, lest you move in the flesh and bring harm upon yourself and/or others. Sometimes we can get impatient about something and say, "God is not moving fast enough for me, so I'll just do such-and-such myself." No... that's how you get into trouble.
But then there are times when you have to keep doing what God has told you to do even when it seems crazy. Even when people are telling you, "It's too late for all that." Even when it seems like God has forgotten. But be encouraged. God has not forgotten what you need, for He has not forgotten you. Your eyes tell you one thing, but faith sees God moving on your behalf. And it's amazing because what God does for us is for us drawing even closer to Him.
I just want to encourage and inspire as many people as I can for Jesus Christ.
